Having compressed Air in a laboratory is a must, but in lot of them, no oil free compressed air is available. The Compressed Air Generator has been designed to provide from 20 L/min up to 120 NL/min of oil free and pre-dried compressed Air at up to 6 bar.
The Compressed Air Generator can be used for many different applications like feed compressed air for Pure Air, Ultra Pure Air and Nitrogen Generators. Always ready to use, never empty this station is the ideal accessory for the laboratory. If no compressed air is used, the unit goes in to a standby mode and the compressor stops.
Working principle:
The internal pump will compress the ambient air. Once compressed, the air is cooled and dried by an automatic coalescent filter. The compressed Air is stored in an internal tank. Then the air is regulated in pressure, dust filtered and ready to use. The compressor stops once the tank has reached its upper pressure level and starts again, once the tank has reached its lower pressure level.
Ambient air is aspirated and compressed up to 6 bar. The air will be pre-treated as far as the Particle ( 0.1 µm) and the humidity (0°C dew point) concerns.. Additional residual impurities like CO2, CO, HC, NOx , SO2, O3 and moisture remains and need to be treated differently and with additional devices.
The Compressed Air Generator can be used as external compressed air source for more sophisticated Zero Air purifiers, and Nitrogen generators. Equipped with an internal reservoir, the unit goes into the standby mode, if no compresses air is required.
Other applications of oil free Compressed Air:
° Air purge for GC-ATD
° Air shield for DSC
° Air for particle sizing by laser diffraction
° Air for pneumatic controls
